The "Mexican rap trend" is the Bulin 47 clip
Mexican rap, Spanish rap, shoulder dance, Dame Hombro: why one Madrid clip goes by so many names.

All answersBulin47Viral📌 Short answer
Yes, they are the same thing. The "Mexican rap trend" in Arabic feeds, the "shoulder dance" and the Dame Hombro challenge all come from one clip: Dominican artist Bulin 47 rapping over Colombian creator Kevin Wai's speaker outside a restaurant in Madrid, posted on 2 October 2026. Nobody in it is Mexican. Each country simply named it after what stood out.

Every name we found, and where
Sources, all read on 14 October 2026: Saudi Google suggestions and results for the Arabic names, Extra for the Spanish ones, Listín Diario for where it was filmed. Extra also reports a release called "Hombritos" inspired by the dance; the song with the official video is "Dame Hombro".

| Dame Hombro, "Give Me a Shoulder" | The chant in the clip, then the song | The song; its video went up on 8 October 2026 |
| #DameHombroChallenge | Bulin 47's own posts, Dominican radio | A dance contest he launched |
| ترند الراب المكسيكي ("Mexican rap trend") | Saudi Google suggestions, Gulf posts | The same clip, with the wrong country |
| رقصة الكتف ("shoulder dance") | Egyptian TV Youm7's interview title, 13 October | The shoulder move from the clip |
| "Spanish rap trend" | Arabic YouTube titles | The same clip (it was filmed in Spain) |
| "El meme del año", "tiradera" | Ecuador's Extra, 13 October | The clip and its AI copies |
Why people call him Mexican
We found no source that explains the label. It looks like a guess from the Spanish and the street setting, and it stuck in Gulf feeds. The facts point elsewhere: Bulin 47 (Hancel Teodoro Vargas Reynoso) is from the Dominican Republic, Kevin Wai is Colombian, and the clip was filmed in Madrid, Spain.
On a Saudi Google search for the Arabic name, the first page was all social posts and no page answering who the rapper is. That gap is why this page exists. More on Bulin 47 himself.
Real clip or AI?
Both exist. The original is real footage: Kevin Wai's 46-second TikTok from 2026-10-02. Most versions in your feed with a celebrity, a cartoon or a friend in the doorway are AI remakes of it. Which AI makes them.
